چکیده

This Study represents compatibility on Cold formed steel in I-Section beams and C-section with variable length parameters was 1000mm, 1500mm, 2000 mm under simply supported end condition subjected to uniformly distributed loading. The is of shell type Numerical simulation carried out using the Software ABAQUS. For validation series studies have been numerical model different parameters, such as effect length, width, thickness. CFS various thickness 1mm, 2mm, 3mm 4mm same loading conditions. C-Section uneven flange width 500mm at top bottom 400mm, 300mm, 200mm respectively lengths conditions about 1mm. both Beams Effective Length ranges, MISES(max min) deflections(max were taken for analyse Sections. study gives way finding effective Section by analysis behaviour beam through deflection results variations ABAQUS software Structural more accuracy manner applying meshing finer Element Analyse beam. supporting applied section getting Section. further stability we can use types connection.

Impact of cross-section stability on cold-formed steel member stiffness and ductility

The objective of this paper is to provide work towards design methods to predict both the loss of stiffness and the available ductility for cold-formed steel members subject to cross-section deformations resulting from local and distortional buckling. Existing design specifications provide some guidance on how to predict the stiffness of cold-formed steel members, but no guidance on their avail...

On Cold-Formed Steel Construction

Powder-actuated (also referred to as low velocity or powder-driven) fasteners are commonly used to attach cold-formed steel framing members, usually a track, to a concrete or structural steel support. Although commonly used, their behavior is less well understood than other fasteners such as screws, bolts and welds. The AISI Cold-Formed Steel Design Manual does not explicitly address powder act...

Influence of Residual Stresses Induced by Cold Curving on the Resistance of I-section Steel Members

Cold curving is today the cheapest and more common way to produce curved steel members by bending or curving of straight members. This is a repetitive process during which the straight member passes several times through a machine with bending rolls imposing progressively the desire curvature (see for example the curving machine of figure 1). The non-reversible deformations introduced by the pr...

Review on Cold-Formed Steel Connections

The concept of cold-formed light steel framing construction has been widespread after understanding its structural characteristics with massive research works over the years. Connection serves as one of the important elements for light steel framing in order to achieve its structural stability. Compared to hot-rolled steel sections, cold-formed steel connections perform dissimilarity due to the...

Risk factors for C-section delivery and population attributable risk for C-section risk factors in Southwest of Iran: a prospective cohort study

Background: Iran has a high C-section rate (40.6% in 2005). The objective of this study was to assess the associations and population-attributable risks (PAR) of risk factors combinations and C-section in the Southwest Iran. Methods: We performed a population-based cohort study using the reports provided by Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. The cohort included pregnant women within Sept...
